Department of Transfusion Medicine at Sri Guru Ram Das University of Health Sciences provides complete blood transfusion solution to the patients of our hospital and other local hospitals.

The hospital being a tertiary care hospital and patients come from all over the state. A licensed blood bank exists in hospital since 2007 and has state of art equipment and technology. Standard in the technologies and quality control are meticulously maintained as laid down in the drugs and cosmetic act, of the Regulatory Authority, Director Drugs Controller (India). Department runs round the clock and blood and its components are supplied as and when required. Free blood is supplied to Thalassemia patients, Sickle cell patients, Aplastic anemia, Pingalwara patients and road side accident patients.
